Protest of Gov. Jim Doyle outside taping of Gubernatorial Debate

Location: outside the Discovery World Museum by the lake downtown
The Wisconsin Gubernatorial debate this Friday takes place in Milwaukee; the taping of the debate will be at 3pm. Before the taping, at 2:30pm, College Republicans will be gathering outside the Discovery World Museum to greet Congressman Green and protest Governor Doyle. The protest will be on Doyle's policies of driving in-state tuition up and driving students outside Wisconsin; bring signs and wear college shirts of colleges outside Wisconsin, if you can. There may be media coverage (and thus a chance to be on TV). Optional events afterwards at the campaign HQ include campaigning (i.e. phone banking, etc.) and a debate watching party involving pizza.
CR "Regional Conferences"

In four cities in Wisconsin, CRs will be coming together from all our chapters to do doors and distribute literature for Republican candidates. The target for Southeastern Wisconsin is Racine, where - in additional to gubernat
orial candidate Mark Green - we'll be helping targeted State Senate candidate Bill McReynolds. It is to be a full day - starting in Racine at 10.am. and lasting til about 4pm, with lunch provided. Please contact us for more details.
GOTV - 72 Hour Test Run

In preparation for the final 5 days of the campaign RPW Chairman Brad Courtney
will be in Milwaukee to help simulate the GOTV-72 Hour Program and contact voters
in the 13th Assembly district. We will be working with State Senator Tom Reynolds' campaign, as well as 13th Assembly Dist. Candidate
Rick Baas' campaigns. The door effort will begin at 8:30am
on Saturday morning. We will have breakfast refreshments, Chairman Courtney will say a few
words and then we will start our door-to-door effort in the 13th Assembly District.
Victory Offices will be staged at 9205 W. Center Street, Wauwatosa &
7223 W. Greenfield Avenue, West Allis.

Speaker Event: Marriage Protection Amendment

UWM, Marquette, Concordia, Wisconsin Lutheran, and now MSOE will be in attendance to this event put on by the Family Research Institute of Wisconsin. Lorri Pickens, the Campaign Director for the Vote Yes for Marriage effort, will be talking about the Marriage Amendment and how Fair Wisconsin has distorted the truth to fit their agenda.
State-Wide Conference Call with the future Governor of Wisconsin, Mark Green

The Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans presents a state-wide conference call with Mark Green, open to all Wisconsin College Republican members. Why: Because the Congressman wants to get us pumped up for Operation STOMP! this weekend and talk briefly about the state of higher education in Wisconsin. How to call in: Dial (605) 725-1900. Then you will be asked to enter the conference call access code: 11706, followed by the pound sign. There are a limited number of call lines, so be sure to call on time. The Congressman will take a few questions after he speaks with us.
